How to Make Money With Bidvertiser

When I started blogging, Adsense was the only known monetization way to me. With the passage of time, I came to know that Google Adsense is not the only program out there. There are some alternatives.
While Adsense is still the best advertising network, you can consider trying some alternatives to increase your revenue. It’s hard to say which Ad network will work for you. What works for me might not work for you. So it’s better to find out it yourself.
Today I am going to tell you about Bidvertiser, which is considered as one of the best Adsense alternatives. If you got denied by Adsense or Adsense banned your account, read on. I will show you how to make money with Bidvertiser with an extra way.

What is Bidvertiser? How does it Work?

Bidvertiser is an advertising network like Adsense. It’s a Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising agency founded in 2003. It has started its journey in the same year Adsense did. So you can trust on Bidvertiser.
Join Bidvertiser
The way that Bidvertiser works is the little bit different from other advertising networks. While most of the ad networks show ads based on context or interest of the visitors, Bidvertiser creates a bidding system that allows the highest bidder to advertise on your site. So if you have a quality site, you’ll have the chance to get high paying ads. You will get paid for clicks, not for impressions. It also pays extra revenue for conversions.

Bidvertiser Vs Adsense

Bidvertiser is a great Adsense alternative. As some of the Bidvertiser ads look like Adsense ads, you shouldn’t use both ads alongside. But it’s Ok to use Bidvertiser ads with Adsense ads. The rate of pay per click of Bidvertiser is comparatively lower than Adsense. It will increase if you stay longer with Bidvertiser as it takes sometimes to get your site found by highest bidders.

Bidvertiser Products – What type of Ads they Serve?

Bidvertiser offers 3 ways to make money from your blog.
1. Ad Formats
BidVertiser supports 4 groups of ads: Banners, Inline Ads and Skyscrapers. All ads are fully customizable to fit the site’s look & feel. These ads look like Adsense ads.
2. Toolbar Creator
You can create and distribute your own customised toolbar to earn money. To be honest, I never tried this option. And I don’t think people are going to install the toolbar this way.

3. XML Feeds
XML Feeds allow you to place Bidvertiser ads in your search results or web apps.
How to Get Started With Bidvertiser
I assume that you’ve a blog where you’ll add Bidvertiser ads. (If you haven’t, check this)
At first, you’ll have to create an account with Bidvertiser.
Just go to Bidvertiser and click on “Join Now – It’s FREE” button. Then enter your account information and copy activation code from your Email and paste it into the proper field.
Your account will be approved immediately, and you can start putting ads on your blog.
To get started, click on ‘Add new Bidvertiser’ tab and enter your website URL. Now you’ll have to choose a category for your website.
Once you are done, you will be redirected to the Bidvertiser centre where you’ll find all your ad units. Click on ‘Get Ad Code’ to get ad unit code.
Copy and paste code where you want to show the Bidvertiser ad on your blog.
You’ll find Bidvertiser ad on your blog within few minutes.
Revenue stats update once in 24 hours during business days and once in 72 hours on weekends. It doesn’t show the real time data like Adsense. It shows something call ‘Revenue Points’ instead of a number of clicks and pays per click. Actually, I don’t find it very user-friendly.
Bidvertiser Referral Program – An Extra Way
As I said I’ll show you an extra way to make some extra money, I am going to introduce you to Bidvertiser Referral Program.
Yes, Bidvertiser will pay you if you can refer advertisers and publishers to them. All you need to do is, promote Bidvertiser on your blog. A lot of people are searching for Adsense alternative as it’s hard to get approved by Adsense. You can promote Bidvertiser on your blog as an Adsense alternative.
Here’s how Bidvertiser pays…
  • When your referred advertiser spends $10, you’ll get $5. When the same advertiser spends $50, you’ll get additional $20.
  • When your referred publisher earns $10, you’ll get $10. When the same publisher earns $50, you will get additional $40.
I am an affiliate of Bidvertiser, and it works great for me. Hope it’ll work for you too.
Bidvertiser Payment Options – How Will You Get paid?
Bidvertiser provides payment via check or PayPal on a monthly basis within 30 days after the end of each calendar month. Minimum payment amount is $10 for PayPal and $50 for the check. If you have earned less than the minimum payment, the balance will be carried over to the next month and paid out once you have earned the minimum amount.
Here’s Bidvertiser Payment proof via Paypal. (Date: Jul 1, 2014)
What I Like About Bidvertiser
  • You’ll get immediate approval. And Ad will appear within few minutes.
  • It works with other advertising networks.
  • Adsense allows you to add maximum 8 Adsense Ad units in a single web page. In Bidvertiser, you can add as many ad units you want.
  • Minimum payment is $10 for PayPal.
  • It provides excellent support.
What I don’t Like
  • Payout rate is not high.
  • Sometimes it shows irrelevant ads.
  • Revenue stat is not user-friendly. It doesn’t give information about impressions and CTR.
Over to You
Now I would like to hear from you. Share your experience about Bidvertiser with us via comment. It will help others to make their decision. And if you find this post useful, please help me by sharing this post on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

How to Take a Screenshot in Microsoft Windows

If you are wondering how to capture and save a dynamic entity on your screen or how to show someone an issue you are facing with the system, taking a screenshot of your current display is just a quick keystroke away. Follow any of these simple steps to take a screenshot of your whole screen, a specific window, or any section of the display you want.
Image titled Take a Screenshot in Microsoft Windows Step 1

Press the "Print Screen" (Prt Sc) key on your keyboard. This will capture an image of your entire screen and copy it to the clipboard. The dimensions of the image will be the same as that of your desktop resolution.
  • The Print screen button in your system can be labeled either as "PrtScn", "Prnt Scrn" or "Print Scr". On most desktop keyboards, the button is usually found between F12 and Scroll Lock. On laptop keyboards, you may have to press the Fn or "Function" key to access "Print Screen". [1]
  • Note that you will not receive any confirmation that the screenshot has been taken.

Paste the screenshot. Once you have made the screenshot, you will need to paste it to an editor in order to see it. The most common way to paste it is into a Paint file. This will allow you to save it as an image file(bitmap) that can be transferred to others.
  • Open Paint from the Accessories section in your Start menu. With a new blank canvas open, press Ctrl + V to paste the image onto the canvas. You can also open the Edit menu and select Paste, or right-click on the canvas and select Paste.
  • Click File, then Save to set the name and file type of the image. The most common file types are JPG and PNG. The recommended format for screenshots is PNG, due to the high quality and small file size.
  • You can also paste the screenshot into other programs, such as Word or into the body of an email. Simply open the program that you want to paste the image into and press Ctrl + V.
Image titled Take a Screenshot in Microsoft Windows Step 3

Save a full-screen screenshot directly to a file in Windows 8. When you press the Windows key + Prt Sc, you will save a full-screen screenshot directly to a file without having to paste it into another program first. The file is saved to the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder. If the Screenshots folder does not exist, Windows will create one.
  • The picture is saved in PNG format.
  • Screenshots are automatically labeled "Screenshot", and a number will appear in parentheses for each consecutive screenshot.

Here's Why Google Should Reward Content Marketers

Here's Why Google Should Reward Content Marketers (And SEO Practitioners) For Less Content, Not More

content_seo_cropped.jpg
For a long time there's been a love-hate relationship between SEO practitioners and and content marketers and, sadly, isn't going away anytime soon. But, there may be a solution and Google is front and center. But, first, let's take a look at the history between SEO practitioners and content marketers.
Yesterday: War
Throughout most of the '00s, SEO and quality content were fighting an all-out war. All SEOs could think about were keywords, keywords, keywords. Content creators were driven by advertising, PR and branding considerations saw keyword insertion and other SEO tactics such as padded word counts as self-defeating ploys guaranteed to render published content unreadable, unpersuasive and undermining of the company brand.
At this time, SEOs were not without their arguments. They were not to blame if Google's algorithm rewarded these "ploys" with high organic rankings. They were also quick to point out that without organic search visibility, a company's content would not receive enough views to generate a dial-moving number of leads, no matter how brilliantly it was written.

Today: Détente
As the '10s have proceeded, SEO and quality content have found a good deal of common ground:
Google's algorithm has improved its ability to identify and reward high-value content, which Google defines as being useful and informative, more valuable than useful than other sites' content, credible, high quality and engaging.
Google, primarily (but by no means exclusively) through its Panda, Penguin and Hummingbird updates, is taking aggressive and decisive steps to eliminate manipulative, SEO tricked-up content from its organic results.
The rise of content marketing as a self-standing, high-value marketing discipline has brought more attention to quality standards for online marketing content. Content marketing is now a global research lab for creating innovative content strategies and techniques -- some in the service of SEO, and some not.
The quality content camp can now take comfort in knowing that SEO maneuvers such as vacuous, 500-word press releases announcing a new brand of coffee filters in the headquarters cafeteria is now as useless for Google as it always was for humans.
The SEO contingent is also relieved to have a content quality camp at its disposal. Google's algorithm updates have eliminated most non-content forms of optimization, leaving high-value content as the main weapon in its optimization arsenal.
Despite all of the progress, tension will continue between SEO and quality content. Here's why:
- Word counts still matter. A recent study of one million Google searches reveals the average Google first-page result has close to 2,000 words. Quality-minded copywriters with a 1,000-word message still have a problem.
- Keywords still matter. While precise keyword matches between a search query and on-page content are less important than before, keyword themes and placement still influence rankings, so keyword considerations -- and there are a great many of them -- cannot be ignored. Quality-minded copywriters cannot shoo those pesky keyword flies quite yet.
- Pressure to publish is increasing. Because backlinks remain a huge factor in Google's algorithm, SEOs continue to embrace a quantity-over-quality mindset: To obtain backlinks, SEOs must publish a lot of off-site content linking back to the company/client website. And because content marketers with or without an SEO interest are right alongside publishing like mad, each side has little choice but to publish or perish -- with users being bombarded with content, SEOs and pure content marketers can succeed only by staying visible.

Tomorrow: An Alliance Against Google?
Looking ahead, SEOs and the quality content camp may forge an alliance based on their common goal of reducing the pressure to publish.
The common enemy: Google.
The best way -- maybe the only way -- to truly harmonize SEO and quality content is for Google to reward LESS content rather than MORE content in its algorithm. For instance, why not reward publishers for publishing 10 off-site articles on a given topic rather than 100, or reward them for producing five truly enlightening infographics and taking the other 500 offline?
My guess is, algorithmic considerations such as those would appeal to Google search engine users -- users growing tired of sifting through repetitive drivel to find truly useful and relevant content. Google is not beholden to SEOs or content marketers. But if an algorithm shift to reward less content suits its users, there is a chance it could happen.
For now, SEOs and content marketers can only hope.
This guest article was written by Brad Shorr, Director of Content Strategy at Chicago SEO agency Straight North.
Editor's note: And, yes, the irony of this article bringing Google juice to Straight North has not escaped us. But think about this argument for a minute because it is a worthy one. If Google did, in fact, reward for less content rather than more, wouldn't the world be a greater place for everyone? I think so.

Helen Flanagan

IT'S HELEN FLANAGAN

Stunning Helen Flanagan poses in lingerie and prepares for hotly anticipated return to Coronation Street

BUSTY actress Helen Flanagan is set to sex up Coronation Street after a five-year break from the soap.
The Bury-born star, 26, is returning in the new year as wild child Rosie Webster and will take home a cool £30,000 for an initial three-month stint back on the cobbles.
The busty actress is preparing for a return to the soap
It’s a fraction of what her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair, who she has daughter Matilda, one, with, earns as a striker at Scottish giants Celtic where he takes home £60,000 a week.
Bosses have been furiously trying to persuade Helen to come back after she filmed her final scenes in 2012 to go into the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here jungle.
They were desperate to get some glamour back into the long-running soap after actresses Georgia May Foote, 25, and Michelle Keegan, 29, both quit in quick succession.
A source said: "Helen is coming back for a short stint to start with but everyone is hoping it becomes permanent again. She was popular both in and out of work and offers a bit of glam that others characters don't.
"She's getting paid good money, but it does get somewhat eclipsed by Scott's earnings."

Helen will begin filming at the end of the year and appear on screen early next year when she returns with on-screen sister Sophie - played by Brooke Vincent, 24.

Trans-Siberian railway

What is the Trans-Siberian?

The Trans-Siberian Railway is just one part of the massive Russian railway network.  It connects the European rail network at one end with either Vladivostok or the Chinese rail network at the other.  Take a look at the route map to see where the Trans-Siberian Railway goes.  You can use it to travel overland in either direction between London, Paris or anywhere in Europe and China, Japan, Korea or even Southeast Asia...

Overview of the 3 routes.

Moscow to Vladivostok:  Every second day, the Rossiya (the Russia, train number 2 eastbound, train 1 westbound) leaves Moscow on its 6-night journey to Vladivostok.  This is almost the longest train ride of them all, 9,259 km or 5,752 miles. This train has 1st class 2-berth compartments called spalny wagon or SV, 2nd class 4-berth compartments called kupé, open-plan bunks called platskartny & a restaurant car, see the photos below or virtual tour.  One-way fares in the summer months cost around 18,629 rubles ($640 or £420) in kupé or 31,175 rubles ($1,070 or £695) in spalny vagon, a bit more if booked through an agency.  See a brief account of the journey.  From Vladivostok there is a weekly ferry to South Korea & Japan, taking 36 hours (2 nights).
Two routes to China:  Although the main Trans-Siberian line runs from Moscow to Vladivostok, most western travellers head for China on one of two branches, the Trans-Mongolian line (completed in the 1950s) or the Trans-Manchurian line (built around 1900), see the route map below.  There are two direct trains each week between Moscow & Beijing, train 3/4 via Mongolia using Chinese coaches and train 19/20 Vostok via Manchuria using Russian coaches.
Moscow to Beijing via Mongolia:  This is arguably the most interesting Trans-Siberian route to take.  The weekly Trans-Mongolian train (train 4 eastbound, train 3 westbound) leaves Moscow for Beijing every Tuesday night.  The 7,621 km (4,735 mile) journey takes 6 nights.  This train crosses Siberia, cuts across Mongolia and the Gobi desert, then enters China.  Westbound, it leaves Beijing every Wednesday morning.  This train uses Chinese rolling stock and has deluxe 2-berth compartments (with shared shower), 1st class 4-berth compartments & 2nd class 4-berth compartments.  Booked through a local Russian agency, journey costs around $805 or £555 one-way in 2nd class 4-berth or $1130 or £780 in 1st class 2-berth.  See an illustrated account of the journey.
Moscow to Beijing via Manchuria: The weekly Trans-Manchurian train (the Vostok, train 20 eastbound, train 19 westbound, using Russian rolling stock) leaves Moscow on Saturday nights for Beijing via Manchuria, taking just over six days to cover the 8,986km (5,623 miles).  Westbound, it leaves Beijing every Saturday night.  There are 2-berth 1st class compartments (spalny vagon) and 4-berth 2nd class compartments (kupé).  Prices are similar to the Chinese train.
Other Trans-Siberian trains:  These aren't the only Trans-Siberian trains.  Far from it!  Many other trains run over parts of these routes.  There's even a slower, lower-quality Moscow-Vladivostok train, train 100 taking 7 nights instead of 6...  See the Trans-Siberian timetable below.

Theresa May

Theresa welcomes the news of improved broadband services in Wargrave

Theresa May was delighted to hear that Wargrave will be benefiting from improved broadband later this year. Virgin Media announced that following the village competition that they recently ran, they are planning to upgrade Wargrave with a new fibre network later this year. This comes at the same time that Gigaclear have confirmed that they have enough interested households to install fibre to the premises in the more rural parts of the parish, Crazies Hill and Cockpole Green. They project installation over the next 6 months or so.

Theresa visits Maidenhead Waterways project

Theresa May has visited the Maidenhead Waterways project to view the latest progress and receive an update on the next stages of the development. The project aims to restore and enlarge the neglected town centre waterways and bring them back into use for boating, walking, cycling and fishing. Theresa has strongly supported the plan and regularly visited the site.

Theresa's statement on becoming Prime Minister

Theresa May has been appointed as Prime Minister by HM The Queen. Speaking outside 10 Downing Street, she said: “David Cameron has led a One Nation Government, and it is in that spirit that I also plan to lead… We will make Britain a country that works not for a privileged few but for every one of us. That will be the mission of the Government I lead, and together we will build a better Britain.”

Theresa’s statement on becoming leader of the Conservative Party

Theresa May made the following statement after confirmation of her selection as leader of the Conservative Party: “I am honoured and humbled to have been chosen by the Conservative Party to become its leader. I would like to pay tribute to the other candidates during the election campaign, and I would like to pay tribute to Andrea Leadsom for the dignity that she has shown today. During this campaign, my case has been based on three things. First, the need for strong, proven leadership to steer us through what will be difficult and uncertain economic and political times. The need of course to negotiate the best deal for Britain in leaving the EU and to forge a new role for ourselves in the world. Brexit means Brexit and we’re going to make a success of it. Second, we need to unite our country. And third, we need a strong, new, and positive vision for the future of our country. A vision of a country that works not for the privileged few but works for every one of us. Because we’re going to give people more control over their lives. That’s how together we will build a better Britain.”
